Our staff reviews footage with a scouting and development lens, selecting clips that highlight more than goals and assists. We look for skating, puck touches, decision-making, positioning, hockey IQ, transition play, defensive details, compete level, and overall game impact.

For goalies, we can highlight key attributes such as tracking, rebound control, positioning, reads, movement, puck handling, recovery ability, and composure.

The goal is to create a polished, credible package that helps coaches, scouts, and teams quickly understand how a player actually impacts the game.

PDA primarily uses InStat to source game clips for Highlight Packages. When available, our staff can access the footage and build the package using the games and clips available through the platform.

We can also source clips through LiveBarn, but LiveBarn only stores the last 30 days of film. Because of that, players and parents should reach out as soon as possible if they want recent games included.

If a player has limited or no video available through InStat or LiveBarn, we recommend sending us your best clips directly so we can include them in the final package. This helps ensure we have enough usable footage to create a strong, polished reel.

Most PDA Highlight Packages take about one week to complete.

This gives our staff enough time to source the footage, review the clips, select the strongest moments, and edit everything into a clean, professional final package. Turnaround time may vary slightly depending on video availability, the package selected, the amount of footage being reviewed, and our current workload.

The Player Card includes a detailed analytic and scouting profile that combines advanced performance metrics with comprehensive scouting evaluations.

It gives players, parents, coaches, and evaluators a clearer view of the player’s strengths, areas for improvement, overall impact, and development profile. The goal is to add context beyond the highlight video by showing how the player performs through both data and scouting insight.

Yes. If there are certain areas you want emphasized, you can let us know before we build the package.

Some players may want to highlight their offensive ability, while others may want the reel to show their two-way value, defensive reliability, physical presence, play-driving habits, or growth in a specific area. For goalies, the focus may be on consistency, athleticism, technical structure, or performance under pressure.

We’ll use that direction to guide the clip selection while still making sure the final package represents the player’s overall game accurately.

This option is best for players who want to highlight specific parts of their game, such as decision-making, positioning, two-way value, transition play, defensive details, hockey IQ, physicality, or goalie-specific strengths.

The main difference is depth. The Quickfire Reel is built for speed, visibility, and first impressions. The Game Impact Profile is built for context, evaluation, and a more complete picture of the player’s game.

If you want something short, sharp, and shareable, go with the Quickfire Reel. If you want a more complete breakdown of what makes you valuable as a player, the Game Impact Profile is the better choice.

Not always. In many cases, we can build the package without the player needing to gather clips themselves.

That said, players are welcome to send any specific plays they want included or considered. If there are moments that show a key part of your game, a recent strong performance, or a clip you definitely want us to review, send it over.

If there is limited footage available for the player, sending your best clips can also help us create a stronger final package.

Yes. Teams, coaches, programs, and agencies can order Highlight Packages for multiple players.

This is a good option for teams that want to give players a professional way to showcase their game after a tournament, showcase, playoff run, or full season. Multi-player orders can also make the process more efficient, especially when footage is coming from the same games or team video sources.

For larger orders, we recommend reaching out directly so we can discuss the number of players, footage availability, package type, timeline, and pricing.

We take a deeper look at their game through video, scouting, analytics, and actionable feedback designed to help them understand where they are, what they do well, and what they need to improve to reach the next level.
